So here's a look at the updated standings in the South Division

1. Utah 7-3, 5-3 (beat Oregon 32-25; plays @ Colorado next)
2. ASU 6-4, 4-3 (beat UCLA 31-28; plays @ Oregon next)
3. Arizona 5-5, 4-3 (bye week; plays @ WSU next)
4. USC 5-5, 4-4 (lost to Cal 15-14, plays @ UCLA next)
5. Colorado 5-5, 2-5 (lost to WSU 31-7, plays vs Utah next)
6. UCLA 2-8, 2-5 (lost to ASU 31-28, plays vs USC next)

Here's what that all means. USC, Colorado and UCLA are all out of contention for the South Division title. Utah winning and USC losing knocked the Trojans out since the best they can do is 5-4 and if both teams end up there Utah holds the tie breaker.

If Arizona can win its next two games and Utah loses next week to Colorado then the Wildcats are going to win the South. If the Utes win next week then the Wildcats are out no matter what else happens. ASU still controls its own destiny with a tiebreaker over Utah and a game against UA still upcoming.

The kickoff times for next week's game have been released this morning, so UA will know if it is still alive when it takes the field. Utah and Colorado have an 11:30 a.m. kickoff while Arizona once again has a late game with an 8:30 p.m. MST kickoff in Pullman on Saturday.
