Do or die. Arizona is in an elimination game after losing a tough game to Vanderbilt on Saturday. Stanford lost to NC State meaning one of the Pac-12 teams will head home from Omaha today. I'll be posting game updates today as the Wildcats look to keep their season alive. As always I welcome you to join the conversation throughout the afternoon.

Top: Tim Tawa and Brock Jones come up with back-to-back singles for the Cardinal, but Garrett Irvin is able to work out of the jam with a strikeout followed by a groundout to Kobe Kato at 2nd base
Bottom: Donta’ Williams pops up to open bottom half for UA; Jacob Berry goes down looking before Branden Boissiere strikes out swinging to end the first inning in what could end up as a pitchers duel.

Top: Park singles to open the inning; Tawa follows that up with his own single; after a strikeout, Huff singles to center to bring in another run for the Cardinal forcing the Wildcats to pull Murphy in favor of Quinn Flanagan; Christian Robinson doubles to right center bringing in two more runs for the Cardinal; Brueser reaches on fielder’s choice after McClaughry throws home to get Robinson at home for the 2nd out; Bowser pops up to right to end the inning
Bottom: Berry goes down on strikes to open the bottom half of the inning for UA; Boissiere and Bullard both walk to get a couple runners on base for the first time today for the Wildcats; Holgate fouls out to third base for the 2nd out after just two pitches; O’Tremba pops up to end the inning

Bottom: Bullard singles to open UA’s time at the plate; after a groundout from Holgate, Susac brings in Bullard with a big double to left center; Stanford goes to its bullpen after the Susac double; Kato triples to left center after Jones misses on a diving catch allowing Susac to score; O’Tremba brings in Kato with a deep fly ball to right center; McClaughry grounds out to end the inning

Bottom: Blake Paugh comes in to pinch hit for O’Tremba and he pops up to the catcher; Chase Davis comes in to pitch hit for McClaughry and he goes down looking on a strikeout; Williams lines out to second to end the game
