Arizona will be one of eight teams playing Thanksgiving weekend in California this year and now we know what the bracket will look like for for the Wooden Legacy event in Anaheim. The Wildcats are the premier team at the event with Wake Forest, Pepperdine, Penn, UCF, Providence, Long Beach State and College of Charleston being the other teams in this year's tournament.

The Wildcats will open up against an old friend as UA begins its stay at the three-day tournament against Pepperdine and former associate head coach Lorenzo Romar. A win in that game, which is scheduled for 9 p.m. MST Nov. 28, and the Wildcats would advance to the semifinal round to take on either Penn or UCF.

The championship game of the tournament is scheduled for a 7 p.m. MST start Dec. 1. The tournament will take Dec. 30 off giving the Territorial Cup its day to shine.

UA was last in the tournament in 2015 when it lost to Providence in the semifinal round before taking down Boise State in the third-place game. Previously the tournament was held at Cal State Fullerton and the Honda Center, but this year the event is being moved to the Anaheim Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center right across from Disneyland. The event was previously hosted there when it was known as the 76 Classic.
