Arizona has announced the dates for the Red-Blue Showcase and there is an added twist this season. Instead of one showcase, the Wildcats will hold two showcases one in Tucson and one in Glendale.
This really makes sense for Arizona given that it is thee top basketball program in the state and has a large fan base in the Phoenix area.
Dates and times:
Tucson (Oct. 4) 6 p.m. (MST)
Glendale (Oct. 11) 6:30 p.m. (MST)
Due to a recent NCAA rule change, Arizona is able to hold two showcase scrimmages.
Like last season, the showcase in Tucson will be hosted by the Road Trippin' podcast crew of Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye and Allie Clifton.
Plus, the crew will host the one in Glendale with Jefferson, Clifton and special guest Kedrick Perkins. The game will be held at Desert Diamond Arena.
Tickets go on sale Thursday August 22 on the Arizona athletics website.
