Injuries are creeping in again this season for Arizona and unfortunately for the Wildcats one of the new names on the list this week is someone who has spent a lot of time there for the last few seasons. Here is this week's injury report that is a little more length than other weeks.

Probable

We'll start with the good part of the list and that is redshirt freshman tight end Jamie Nunley being back from his back injury that kept him out of the opener against NAU. Trevor Wood being in a boot meant perfect timing this week for Nunley to make his return as the Wildcats had the chance to be down to just one healthy tight end heading into the week. At this point the expectation is that Nunley plays and will be good to go for Saturday's contest to help out the running game and potentially work in the passing game as well.

Questionable

This is where the list starts to take a turn as senior running back Nick Wilson finds himself in familiar territory listed as questionable with an ankle injury going into Saturday's game. This is one that has been kept very quiet this week but for now there is a good chance he doesn't play on Saturday meaning the Wildcats will have to move everyone else up the depth chart and players like Nathan Tilford and Branden Leon will see more action this week.

In addition to Wilson, tight end Trevor Wood is listed as questionable which is actually an upgrade from where I thought he would be after seeing him in a boot earlier in the week. It is officially being called an ankle injury, but at this point with Nunley coming back on the field I wouldn't expect Wood to get in the game this weekend.

Traditionally, the questionable guys have not played but in recent years that has come to truly mean questionable and there have been more players who have made it to game day and recovered enough to play. We'll see what happens this Saturday but the Wilson injury comes at a bad time with UA needing to be able to run the ball this weekend.

Doubtful

None

Out

Finally, we've reached the group of players we know will be out for Saturday's game and that group includes two players on the list last week with starting free safety Isaiah Hayes out with a shoulder injury that is starting to sound like it might be more serious than the program is leading on. In addition to Hayes, DeAndre' Miller is again on the list with the foot injury/surgery that is likely to keep him out a couple more weeks at the least.

The new name this week on the "out" list is receiver Donovan Walker who has a shoulder injury and will miss Saturday's game. That actually has a chance to be more impactful than it would seem with Arizona likely going to be forced to pass the ball more on Saturday. Walker is really a deep threat for the Wildcats and losing him means losing what could be an important element of Saturday's game.

On the positive side for Arizona is that Khalil Tate is not listed on the injury report. That doesn't mean he's healthy as there are others I now are injured right now who aren't being listed this week but it is a good sign considering Tate's injury was out in the open and well known.
