For the first time the NCAA will release the top 16 teams in the NCAA Tournament field early taking a cue from the College Football Playoff to give fans an idea of where things stand with the top seeds. It will take place on Feb. 11 showing the top four seeds in each region as things stand on that date. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't mean much, but it's going to happen and it is interesting at the very least.
