We heard throughout the broadcast how small our lines were against USC. I think writers, broadcasters, and fans are just so used to saying it that they think it must be true. Its not. They may be better, but they're not bigger. Here are the heights and weights of the starters for Saturday's game.

Average Lines
OL: UofA (6-5, 309), USC (6-4, 298)
DL: UofA (6-3, 276), USC (6-3, 264)

Arizona Starting OL
LT Friekh: 6-5, 302
LB Boettcher: 6-2, 290
C Eldridge: 6-3, 297
RG Alsadek: 6-7, 325
RT de Beer: 6-7, 320

Arizona Starting DL
DE Belnap: 6-3, 259
DT Bruno: 6-4, 305
NT Boles: 6-2, 296
OLB Wilborn: 6-2, 245

USC Starting OL
LT Lobendahn: 6-3, 290
LG Brown: 6-5, 310
C Falah: 6-4, 285
RG Voorhees: 6-4, 310
RT Edoga: 6-4, 295

USC Starting DL
DE Iosefa: 6-2, 225
DT Green: 6-4, 275
NT Fatu: 6-2, 315
OLB Uchenna: 6-2, 240

** Watching the replays, their OLB is usually the 4th guy on the LOS like our stud OLB.

Last year, I posted the average lines of all Pac 12 teams (all linemen), and we were slightly above average. The smallest DL was Washington State (also one of the best). I may do that again this year to show that we're not as small as we're told or as we think.
