Linebackers Ammon Allen and Dante Smith have been awarded scholarships by the staff this week. The news was made official earlier tonight. Allen had offers before deciding to walk on at Arizona while Smith has played a role since arriving on campus a few years ago and should have an increased role this season.
Offensive lineman Davis DiVall recently decided to leave the team plus the Wildcats still had some room on the 85-man roster allowing Jedd Fisch to award a couple more scholarships to walk-on players entering the season.
