It is not being reflected on his profile just yet, but Arizona DE commit Adam Plant Jr. has been bumped up to a four-star recruit making him the highest-rated prospect in the class for the Wildcats. Quarterback Jamarye Joiner also received a bump up to a high three-star prospect and I know there were some discussions about moving him up even more, so there is still a chance he moves up to the four-star range as well.
Here is an update on all the new four-star recruits in the 2018 class.
Here are some comments from national recruiting analyst Adam Gorney about plant and why he received the bump up in rankings:
“Plant is a terror at defensive end who has the size, power and look of an SEC prospect. He can overpower almost any offensive tackle to make plays in the backfield, evidenced by more than a dozen tackles for loss this season. He's aggressive and tough and doesn't take plays off."
