Today it's Eastern Washington on deck for the Wildcats. Feel free to join the conversation as Arizona looks for its second win.

🏀 1st half

15:25 – EWU likes to shoot it from deep and they are doing that here today, but it has not had much success. Meanwhile, James Akinjo has hit two 3-pointers already for the Wildcats
SCORE UPDATE: Arizona - 8 EWU - 5
11:24 – Azuolas Tubelis with a really nice play in transition to get a layup and foul for a 3-point play to help the Wildcats extend their lead. The second unit playing a bit better this game around than against Grambling
SCORE UPDATE: Arizona - 16 EWU - 10
7:47 – Arizona's bigs starting to have a little more success during this stretch of the game as both Tubelis and Jordan Brown were able to get some nice buckets underneath. EWU has decided to step in a bit and take some 2-point shots allowing for some more success to keep them relatively close
SCORE UPDATE: Arizona - 22 EWU - 17
2:38 – The Eagles have started to heat up from deep and it has kept them right in the mix as the Wildcats continue to put in work on the offensive end. Tubelis has looked impressive with a couple steals and breakaway plays though his defense overall has been lacking. EWU is doing a good job of keeping the front court in check, however, with its ability to double team in the paint
SCORE UPDATE: Arizona - 34 EWU - 33
0:00 – EWU closes the half strong after its continued barrage of 3-pointers and eventually takes a lead as the Wildcats have not been able to defend the perimeter like they'd like to.
HALFTIME: EWU - 43 Arizona - 38

🏀 2nd half

16:00 – EWU has been held in check and without a basket so far as Arizona has struggled a bit, too, but managed to get a 3-pointer from Baker and a dunk for Tubelis to tie the game; Ira Lee gets a big blocked shot but then is called for a technical with EWU taking two free throws after the timeout
SCORE UPDATE: Arizona - 43 EWU - 43
11:42 – Jordan Brown and Baker both hit for the Wildcats, but the EWU outside shooting slump comes to an end as Tyler Robertson hits a 3-pointer to give the Eagles a lead once again
SCORE UPDATE: EWU - 50 Arizona - 47
7:46 – Eastern Washington has been able to build on its lead as the Wildcats have struggled during the current stretch with a few free throws and then another 3-pointer to push the lead to as many as 8 points; James Akinjo hits his third 3-pointer of the game to cut the lead to 5 points
SCORE UPDATE: EWU - 56 Arizona - 51
3:49 – Arizona has received contributions from all over the floor and it has led the Wildcats to regain the lead on a floater in the lane from Terrell Brown Jr.; Ira Lee also put together a solid stretch to help the Wildcats get out in front again
SCORE UPDATE: Arizona - 61 EWU - 60
0:00 – The Eagles tie it up at 62 before Arizona uses some strong play from Tubelis and Terrell Brown to regain a lead and take control; EWU can't connect down the stretch and UA is able to hang on for its second win behind a good finish from the role players.
FINAL SCORE: Arizona - 70 EWU - 67
