GAME THREAD: Arizona vs Colorado (Pac-12 Tourney - Game 1)

Let's do it again. We were here at this exact same spot last season with Arizona opening up the Pac-12 Tournament against Colorado. We're back today with the early game to kick of day two of the conference tournament. CU is coming off the win over Arizona State yesterday as UA is looking to begin its run to another conference tourney title.

1st half

- PJC hits a 3-pointer from the top of the key to give Arizon the early lead; McKinley Wright gets a bucket to fall; Dallas Walton looking like he did when the two teams met in Boulder with back-to-back baskets and Colorado has the early 7-3 lead on the Wildcats; PJC with a tough take to the bucket to pull UA within two points [SCORE UPDATE: Colorado 7 Arizona 5 - 15:37 1st]

- George King hits two free throws out of the timeout after being fouled by Ayton; Wright fouled by Pinder and he knocks down a couple free throws to make it an 11-5 game; Trier from the corner for 3 to pull Arizona back within 3 points; Lucas Siewert pushes it back up to a 6-point lead for the Buffs with a 3-pointer from the top of the key; Ristic gets fouled and makes one of two from the free-throw line; Ristic with a tough spin move in the lane for the bucket and the foul to pull Arizona within two points now, 14-12; Siewert takes Ayton baseline and gets the bucket and the foul ... he'll shoot the free throw after the timeout [SCORE UPDATE: Colorado 16 Arizona 12 - 11:52 1st]

- Siewert makes the free throw and CU pushes its lead up to 17-12; PJC hits another 3-pointer after some good ball movement to pull UA again within 2 points; Arizona goes to Ayton on the block and he gets a pretty reverse layup to tie it up at 17; Colorado runs a little pick and roll and Walton gets free for an easy dunk; Ayton with the easy look at the hoop off the pass from PJC and it's again tied up, 19-19; Rawle Alkins with a left wing 3-pointer to give UA the 3-point lead and the crowd is back into it [SCORE UPDATE: Arizona 22 Colorado 19 - 7:51 1st]

- Trier hits a 3-pointer to push the lead up to six points for UA, its largest lead of the game; The Wildcats are currently on a 13-2 run over the last 5:26; Trier fouled by King and he makes both free throws to push it to an eight-point lead for the 'Cats; King hits a 3-pointer in the corner to cut into the UA lead; Arizona gets it into Emmanuel Akot for a tough bucket; Tyler Bey gets it inside on Ayton and gets his own tough bucket in the paint; King hits a 3-pointer to cut the Arizona lead to 2 points and Miller takes a timeout [SCORE UPDATE: Arizona 29 Colorado 27 - 7:51 1st]

- King with a tough one-handed shot on Alkins to tie it up once again, 29-29; Ayton getting double teamed and he gets another bucket to fall and 6 points now for UA; Dominique Collier with a bucket to keep CU right in it; Trier hits a jumper from about 18 feet out to give UA back the lead as he continues his good day; Trier fouled by Collier on a touch foul and he makes both free throws ... Tad Boyle wasn't a fan of the call; McKinley Wright makes it a two point game again with a tough take at the rim; UA missed its last four shots of the half
