That's where the selection committee decided to slot Arizona in its early bracket release. If Selection Sunday was today Arizona would be the No. 15 team overall in the NCAA Tournament and the 4-seed in the West with Purdue (1), Kansas (2) and UNC (3) the teams ahead of the Wildcats in that region. That's a favorable spot when everything is taken into account and even CBS.com's Jerry Palm said he feels that's a bit high for the Wildcats. In that scenario UA would get to stay close to home with San Diego and Los Angeles being the locations for the first two weekends of the tournament.
