Kennesaw State sophomore wing James Scott is planning to transfer after a couple seasons at the school and Arizona is one of the programs that has already made contact with the 6-foot-5 New Jersey native. He finished this season as the Owls' leading scorer averaging 17.3 points making a big jump from his freshman season when he averaged 8.5 points. He made 34 percent of his 3-pointers this season and is an 80 percent shooter from the free-throw line.
According to Rivals.com's Corey Evans, Scott has now received his full release and is receiving interest from Nevada, Dayton and Georgetown among others in addition to the Wildcats. Scott would have to sit out the 2018-19 season as a transfer but the Wildcats are looking into him still with a need to continue filling out the roster for the next couple seasons.
