Three-star athlete Khalil Tate is starting to put together his top five and even though his Arizona offer just came in recently the Wildcats have been guaranteed a spot in that group along with Cal and USC as of now. The Gardena (Calif.) Serra plays for Keyshawn Johnson's 7v7 team that visited Arizona last spring, so he already has a familiarity with the campus and program.
One of the things that has given Arizona an advantage is that he would prefer to play quarterback and Arizona offered him as such. Getting into Serra would be huge for Arizona considering how many high-level prospects that school produces each season, but landing Tate will not be easy. Getting a spot in his top five already is a nice step in the right direction though.
