It's been in the works for a couple weeks, but former Arizona guard and coach Miles Simon is expected to be named an assistant with the Los Angeles Lakers. Simon has been working to get back into college coaching, but now he'll bypass that and go right to the NBA. He has been training a number of NBA guys in recent years and is seen as one of the top up-and-coming developmental coaches and that is what his role will be with the Lakers.
