First of all, what a win for Tommy Lloyd, as UConn felt CONFIDENT about this one for a while.

Sanon was originally a member of the 2024 class before reclassifying to 2025. He now returns to his original class and will suit up for the Wildcats next year. That;s basketball recruiting for you.

Anyway, Arizona is getting an elite level athlete with solid length who is just scratching the surface of his upside. Right now, he thrives as a pure scorer. He’s one of the best shooters in the country and can pour it in from all three levels. He’s become a better ball handler in the last year and rebounds relatively well positionally. He has all the tools to be a high-level defender as well but he’s working to become more disciplined and motivated in that front. That said, he will help UofA from a scoring standpoint from day one, as he’s college ready as high schoolers come on that front.

Overall a great get obviously. NBA scouts like Sanon for a reason and you’ll likely see him start popping up in 2025 mock drafts in the near future.
