Sean Miller was joined by Allonzo Trier and Kadeem Allen today for a quick beginning of spring press conference and as you would expect there were a wide range of topics covered during the nearly hour-long session with the media. Here is a quick rundown of the most notable topics discussed on Wednesday.

* Allonzo Trier's return was certainly a positive development for Arizona and it was not made without plenty of thought. The freshman guard went through plenty of discussions with his family and close friends to arrive at the decision to return for his sophomore season and he said Wednesday that being a leader and helping the Wildcats reach a Final Four was one of the main thoughts in his mind when deciding to come back. Both Trier and Miller said that he will be working on some different aspects of his game and Miller even dropped "combo guard" out there when talking about Trier's role on next season's team along with improving defensively.

* When it comes to Arizona's season and how it ended early in the NCAA Tournament there hasn't been a lot of looking back for the 'Cats. Miller said the team has not gone over the film or watched the loss to Wichita State. When it comes to the players UA's staff gave the team the week off after the tournament and Allen said some players took advantage of that time to get away from the game while others were back in the gym working on getting ready for the 2016-17 season.

* At this point Miller is working on finishing out the 2016 class and he reiterated that there will be more players being added to the roster over the next month as his staff continues to add to what it currently has. The UA head coach said he feels the team will eventually add "six or seven" players to the roster for next season with a combination of high school and transfer players. When it comes to those he is awaiting answers from Miller said he has not been given the "wink" yet from its remaining targets but has an "informed" idea about where those recruits are heading.

Miller said afterward that the 2017 class is already shaping up to be just as big with seven players expected to be in that class as well with UA really starting to put the focus on that group as well this spring.

* There are still some roster situations to figure out and as of now Elliott Pitts remains on campus and is taking classes, but his status with the team remains unchanged and Miller still cannot comment on what is going on with the UA wing. The UA head coach said he will discuss it when he can, but for now there is no change in his status. Meanwhile, Justin Simon remains in school and has continued to remain a part of Arizona's day-to-day work going through training and meetings with the team while he looks for his future home Miller said.
