Oregon State quarterback-turned-receiver Seth Collins has been given his release by Oregon State this week and the junior is now looking at his options as a transfer. Since he never used his redshirt and has played in all three seasons at Oregon State he will still have eligibility left. It will be interesting to see if he can either use this season (he only played three games this year) as a redshirt season get eligible right away at his next stop or if he will have to sit in 2018 and use his redshirt year there and be a redshirt senior in 2019.

Either way, Arizona is interested in him and is looking into it as a possibility right now. The Wildcats have already gotten the ball rolling with Rod Smith (San Diego recruiter) and Theron Aych getting things moving with him.

He caught 12 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown this year before being sidelined for the season with what was called a "health-related issue" and after that it was looking like a strong possibility he would move on. As a sophomore he caught 36 passes for 418 yards and a touchdown, but missed the end of the season due to a separate health issue that put him in the hospital.

Arizona is going to be in the market for transfers this spring and offseason and Collins is one to keep an eye on.
