with this new staff is how Arizona goes about recruitments. In the past with the old defensive staff there were prospects it was almost forced to give up on because it knew it wouldn't be able continually recruit them being stretched so thin with coaches who were willing to really hit the road hard. The other coaches on staff could only do so much and divvy up their time/resources in so many ways that if it was going to take a lot to recruit a kid Arizona looked at other options.
That is not going to happen anymore. Not only because Arizona will have coaches who are willing to go on the road, but their direct ties to SoCal make the Wildcats immediate players for recruits. You're somewhat seeing that right now with Chacho Ulloa. Arizona is going to push for him until he says no. Not only are the hires a change from an energy standpoint but you'll start to see a change in philosophy from the top down now that UA can be more active on the trail.
