Arizona has continued to make new offers this weekend with a couple going out to schools the program is familiar with. Here's a look at the three newest UA targets
We'll start with a 2020 prospect who Arizona offered today. The Wildcats are no stranger to South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas having pulled Derrion Clark from there. Flowers is another prospect with an offer list that isn't very striking with Arizona's staff becoming the first Power Five school to offer him. Grambling State is his other offer. The 6-foot-1 cornerback prospect is fresh off a visit to UCF.
Saturday, Arizona offered a four-star prospect in the 2020 class as Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based standout cornerback Joel Williams added the Wildcats to his list that is nearly 40-schools deep now. UA is offer No. 35 for the Rivals250 recruit who is currently rated No. 105 overall. The Wildcats are going to have their work cut out for them in this recruitment as he has Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State and Texas A&M among many others already on his list.
Yesterday during Arizona's busy junior day the Wildcats extended an offer to a local prospect in the 2021 class as standout offensive lineman Jonah Miller added the hometown school to his list. The Salpointe offensive lineman already has offers from Arizona State and Colorado. He will be the next in line at the Tucson powerhouse high school as he continues to develop and play out his career with the Lancers. I saw him in the 2018 season and he has the look of a future Power Five offensive lineman and should only see the interest increase as he continues to go through his high school career. It will be another recruitment the Wildcats have to battle other schools in, but it was a no-brainer type of offer for Kevin Sumlin's staff.
