Arizona made a new offer in Chicago today as the Wildcats decided to jump in the recruitment of top-35 recruit and four-star guard Adam Miller out of Morgan Park High in Chicago. The versatile 6-foot-3 guard could play on or off the ball and has some interesting offers on his list including Illinois, Oregon, ASU, Florida, Kansas, Northwestern, Memphis and UCLA among others.
I haven't seen him since last year, but I've heard he's been having a strong spring on the travel circuit and that has grabbed UA's attention.
"Miller walks like he is good because he is good," Rivals.com's Corey Evans recently wrote about the new UA target. "The lefty is a premium bucket-getter."
Miller has been content to wait out the process in case a school such as Arizona comes in with an offer and looks to get involved heading into the summer. He is only going to see his options increase heading into the summer months and now Arizona will be part of that mix.
"I want to do it kind of like Cole Anthony and really just think about it," Miller recently said about his recruitment. "My life is going to be in their hands and I have to make the best of what I have so that's a really big thing. I just want to watch these schools so hopefully I'll be able to make the NBA."
When it comes to his game Miller doesn't want to be pigeon-holed into one certain position as he takes pride in his versatility. A lot of programs like him at the point guard spot at the next level, however.
"I'm just showing everybody that I have a complete game," he recently said. "I'm not a point guard, I'm not a two guard, I'm just a player. I can fill out any team and do whatever you need me to do.
"(I play) a game like Steph Curry. You know Steph he'll bring the ball up but he gives it up to and he trusts his teammates. That's how I feel like I'm going to be able to play. I can set my teammates up and set myself up."
