Three-star quarterback Ryan Hilinski has been through a lot off the field recently, but on the recruiting front he has been absolutely blowing up and it's awesome to see. The younger brother of Washington State quarterback Tyler Hilinski, who tragically took his own life last month, has been emerging as one of the most highly-recruited signal callers out west.

Tonight the Orange Lutheran standout got the call from Arizona as the Wildcats jumped into his recruitment with an offer. He's an impressive recruit just like his older brother and there is an even older brother, Kelly, who also played quarterback at the college level.

UA is staying active but selective with quarterback offers in the 2019 class and Hilinski is someone who has been gaining increased attention. ASU, Georgia, Ole Miss, Oregon, South Carolina and Wisconsin are some of his other offers at this stage.

Hilinski passed for 3,767 yards and 33 touchdowns as a junior in the 2017 season at Orange Lutheran. His plan at this moment is to make a decision prior to his senior season later this year.

“I absolutely will take visits early,” Hilinski recently told ScarletNation.com about taking official visits in the spring. “I’m going to end up taking all five, I just haven’t decided where to yet."
