This one slipped under my radar earlier this week, but Arizona has offered California defensive back/athlete Kenzel Lawler a couple days ago and it is sounding like it will be one that he pays a lot of attention to as he moves forward. He's played a lot of quarterback during his high school career, but Arizona wants him as a defensive back and has Demetrice Martin as his lead recruiter. He made the transition to being more of a full-time cornerback ahead of his senior season and so far it has brought him more Power 5 attention.
He went to school with current UA freshman receiver Jalen Johnson so there is a connection there. I'd expect the Wildcats to make a big play for him as the process continues.
He just took a visit to Cal where his brother, Kenny, was a standout receiver. Washington State and Utah are going to get him on campus for visits as well before he makes a decision and I would expect UA to work to get him on campus for an official visit soon.
