No real surprise here, but Arizona freshman wing Josh Green has announced his decision to enter the NBA Draft. The UA guard finished the season third on the team in scoring (12 ppg) to go with a team-high 1.5 steals per game.
His ability to play in transition and defend is something that is going to serve him well at the next level, and if he is able to continue improving his outside shot he will have a chance to have a lengthy career in the NBA. That level suits his game better than the college game and he should end up being a first-round pick whenever the draft does take place.
Green is one of the players who was hurt by not having a chance to play more games this season as he was starting to heat up late in the year. He finished his career with the Wildcats on a high note as he scored 19 points in UA's win over Washington in the Pac-12 Tournament.
