Arizona had in-state big man Mitch Lightfoot on campus over the weekend for his official visit - his last of the process - and now he will work toward making a decision here shortly. There is no real timetable for an exact decision but he plans mulling everything over on a senior retreat next weekend and having choice made shortly after that. The Wildcats certainly presented some new things to him this weekend and he said seeing things like where he would live and spend a lot of his time on campus was new to him even though he has been around the program and Tucson for quite a long time now.

The three-star recruit said his relationship with his future coaching staff is going to be the biggest deciding factor but he is going to take a number of things into account as well. He said his family has remained open to him leaving the state to play his college ball, but UA is certainly an enticing opportunity since he spent part of his life living in Tucson.

Things still point to Arizona being the place, but it will have to wait a little longer to hear his official answer after he left campus without pulling the trigger although that always felt like it was going to be the plan anyway.
