what you saw was the type of team that can give Arizona issues this season. Boise State had length and quickness and that is a horrible matchup for the Wildcats and you saw that it was a close game for a lot of the night. One of the reasons is that Arizona doesn't have as much length as it had on the wing going into the season especially if Justin Simon is going to get DNPs. Without Ray Smith out there this season Arizona is going to have to go small with a three-guard look or go big with Mark Tollefsen at the small forward spot.

Tollefsen was not good on defense last night and that quickness on the wing from Boise State gave him issues. When Arizona went small there were more mismatches because of Boise's length. It meant Arizona had to rely on its firepower late in the game which it might have to do a lot this season. Sean Miller mentioned after the game that will have to be the case because his team isn't what was defensively the last two years.

It will be interesting to see how many of these types of teams UA will run into this season, but that is certainly something to watch.
