Arizona will have an important official visitor on campus this weekend. Brayden Burries, a top-20 guard from California, is making the trek to Tucson to see UA take on Stanford. He is coming along with childhood friend and 2024 Arizona signee Carter Bryant, and this trip could go a long way toward eventually getting Burries to UA. There have been some reclassification conversations with Burries, and a move up to the 2024 class is not out of the question.
If that does happen, Arizona would be right in the picture and is already in strong position as it stands now. Tommy Lloyd and Jack Murphy both were in California recently to watch both Bryant and Burries play. The Wildcats' biggest competition as it stands right now is Houston and Duke though some other programs are remaining in the picture as well.
He's only visited UCLA and USC previously so getting him on campus for an official trip is a big deal for Arizona, especially if he ends up deciding some time in the spring.
