Jeff Goodman is reporting what axa has been alluding to for a while now, Jason Terry is expected to be taking over the open assistant coaching spot on Sean Miller's bench next season. The former UA and NBA star has actually been "hired" for a couple weeks now but because of the hiring freeze things are not allowed to become official.

He has actually already started pseudo-recruiting for UA and that is one reason Terrell Brown, his godson, is going to play for the Wildcats next season, why five-star prospect Paolo Banchero put UA on his list and why Nolan Hickman was offered – all Seattle-based recruits. Terry is not actually allowed to recruit for UA at this point because he is not officially hired but the expectation of the addition and his influence certainly played into all those moves.

Terry has spent most of his time after his playing days as the program director and coach of a girls AAU team based in Dallas but he has plenty of connections all over the country on the boys side especially in Seattle.

I would say this is the confirmation you need.
