Former Arizona commit Josh Allen is now down to two schools but he still won't decide until after the dead period meaning he will not arrive until the summer. The four-star defensive end is down to Arizona and Washington State with visits coming up to both next month. He will see Tucson again on Jan. 15 followed by a trip to Pullman on Jan. 22. Arizona has continued to keep up with Allen and Tony Dews had a very important in-home with the junior college prospect during the contact period that has been meaningful to the recruitment.
Washington State is definitely a threat with him, but Arizona has remained in a good spot. Allen decided not to play this season to preserve an extra year of eligibility and while he was on pace at one point to be a midyear enrollee that will no longer be the case allowing him some more time to take these last couple visits. He was always holding out for that offer from USC but it just never managed to come across and now he is down to these two programs.
