I watched a decent chunk of the Cal vs Ole Miss game and definitely was impressed with how Cal played a bigger and much more talented Ole Miss team that's used to playing in very physical games. Cal came out and went toe to toe with them and pulled out a win to go 3-0. Ole Miss commited a ton of penalties but that doesn't take away from the effort and intensity Cal was playing with, especially on defense. I'd love Yates to take some notes outta Cal D coordinator book on blitzing and getting pressure. They were mixing up Blitz looks really well and getting heat on Ole Miss pretty regularly with only 3-4 guys but made it look they were gonna bring more. Real nice job of creating pressure without having the most dominant front or big front. That's the kinda stuff we need to do!!! Definitely gotta give props to Wilcox and what he's getting out of his guys.
