Arizona has scheduled a home-and-home series with Illinois with the first game set to be played next season early in the year on Nov. 10 in Tucson at McKale Center. The return game will come the following season when the Wildcats head to Champaign on December 12 in 2020.
Sean Miller didn't release any type of statement on the game, but Illinois coach Brad Underwood did.
"It's a win-win for everyone," he said. "These are the types of games that players want to play in, recruits want to be part of, and fans want to watch and attend. Arizona is a tremendous team, and there is a shared history between our two programs that will create quite a bit of excitement as the next two chapters of this series unfold in Tucson and Champaign."
The two programs have played 14 times in the past with the Wildcats owning an 8-6 lead in the all-time series.
