It's finally here. Arizona's final game of the season is tonight and it's the one that matters than the rest of them. The Wildcats are taking on in-state rival Arizona State tonight up in Tempe. It has a chance to be an interesting game and interesting night at Sun Devil Stadium.

Pregame
- No DT Myles Tapusoa tonight for the Wildcats. He's out for an undisclosed reason.
- Offensive linemen Josh McCauley and Cody Creason went throughout warmups and ran with the first unit so it will be interesting to see how much they play in this game.
- Khalil Tate ran with the first group at quarterback during warmups, but he did that last week and still didn't get the start so we'll see what happens.
Coin toss: ASU win, defers
1st half
- Drive No. 1 (ball on the UA 15)
Khalil Tate comes in at quarterback for Arizona to start the and he hits Gary Brightwell for 6 yards to open the drive; After a JJ Taylor run for a first down the Wildcats can't get anything going and UA has to punt it away
- Drive No. 2 (ball on the ASU 40)
JB Brown takes down Eno Benjamin on the first play for a loss of 4; a couple incomplete passes from Jayden Daniels brings up a punt for the Sun Devils
- Drive No. 3 (ball on the UA 20)
Tate comes up with a big 29-yards run to keep the Arizona drive alive after earlier hitting Taylor for 18 yards as the UA offense is having some success moving the ball on this drive; the drive stalls and Arizona decides to have Lucas Havrisik kick a 47-yard field goal that is missed wide left
- Drive No. 4 (ball on the ASU 29)
Benjamin gets a 12-yard carry but that is the only thing the Sun Devils can get on the drive and they will punt it away one more time
- Drive No. 5 (ball on the UA 7)
Tate picks up 8 yards on the ground, but the Wildcats can't reach the first down marker and will have to punt it one more time after what looked like a bad spot
- Drive No. 6 (ball on the ASU 45)
Daniels hits Brandon Aiyuk on the opening play of the drive for 25 yards; a personal foul on the Sun Devils moves them back and after a 10-yard pass the Sun Devils decide to go for it on 4th down but do not get a completion giving the Wildcats back the ball
- Drive No. 7 (ball on the UA 32)
Tate can't find Wolma on the first play; Bam Smith picks up 6 yards on the next play; Tate picks up a couple on the ground and UA decides to go for it on 4th down; Tate looks for Drew Dixon as he is pressured and the pass falls incomplete
2nd QTR
- Drive No. 8 (ball on the UA 40)
Daniels hits Aiyuk for 25 yards once again to open the drive; Daniels is sacked by Justin Belknap for a loss of 6 on the next play; the drive stalls out and the Sun Devils have to settle for a 33-yard field goal from Cristian Zenejas [SCORE UPDATE: ASU 3 Arizona 0 - 13:07]
- Drive No. 9 (ball on the UA 25)
A couple short runs for Taylor to open the drive; Tate hits Tayvian Cunningham for 9 yards on the third play of the drive; The drive sputters and the Wildcats have to punt it away but it goes in the end zone as new punter Matt Aragon puts too much on it
- Drive No. 10 (ball on the ASU 20)
Benjamin with a couple runs that net 8 yards for the Sun Devils; after an incompletion ASU has to punt it away one more time as both offenses continue to struggle
- Drive No. 11 (ball on the UA 17)
Tate hits Jalen Johnson to keep the chains moving on 3rd down with a 20-yard completion to the freshman; Tate runs it for 8 yards setting up a 48-yard touchdown pass to Jamarye Joiner as the UA receiver gets wide open and runs it in for the rest [SCORE UPDATE: Arizona 7 ASU 3 - 7:04]

Daniels hits Aiyuk for a few yards on the first play; Daniels runs for 7 yards on the next play for a first down; the drive stalls out and the Sun Devils have to punt it again as the UA defense continues to have a strong night

After a couple short plays the Wildcats get a positive play as Brian Casteel draws a pass interference call to keep the drive alive; Tate finds Joiner for 14 yards to move the chains again for the Wildcats; Tate gives the Wildcats another first down after he picks up 5 yards after a 5-yard run from Taylor; Boobie Curry stops running on a route and looks like he is going to block and Tate throws his way only to have the pass picked off by Jack Jones to end a promising drive for the Wildcats

Benjamin and Daniels run on the first three plays to get the Sun Devils a first down; Daniels runs for 25 yards on the next play to move the chains; Fran Darby drops a touchdown pass in the end zone but a holding penalty is called on UA's Scottie Young Jr. so the Sun Devils will get another first down; a defensive pass interference call gives ASU another first down but it doesn't lead to a touchdown; Zendejas hits from 24 yards out to cut the UA lead down to one point heading into the locker room [SCORE UPDATE: Arizona 7 ASU 6 - 0:00]
