Arizona has its first commitment for 2020 and it is one that could set the team up for yet another big class. Dalen Terry has committed to the in-state program picking UA over Arizona State, Memphis, Marquette, USC and others. Arizona only recently offered the Hillcrest Prep standout earlier in the summer but moved quickly to get him on campus for an impromptu unofficial visit and he moved quickly to make a decision. The buzz for Arizona has been building with Terry and it ended with his pledge.
I’ve watched Terry a few times this summer and the thing that stands out is his ability to create on offense and his elite defensive ability. He’s one of the best defenders in the class and he does it while being a 6-foot-6 point guard.
He’s a very good piece for UA to start the class with.
