As he is now affectionately referred to by Duck fans and players. He is being hailed as already turning the program around and the Ducks have been selected as #21 in the nation pre-season for next fall by at least one national publication. They have 5 four star verbal commits and 3 three star verbal commits for 2018. And this year they are "stealing" not from Arizona but most recently a four star from Florida State University. What a change from the coach who allowed three team members to be abused and sent to the hospital. The fans love him and the players are talking about how competitive he is making it by doing such things as posting the depth chart after every practice. Interesting shift in perceptions about the program's direction isn't it? In a recent blog the feature story was about how with the new attitude and coaching staff they are back in the national playoff discussion again. Wow.
