I had an opportunity to watch Arizona's fall scrimmage against Air Force today. I only made it out for the second half of the scrimmage that mostly featured younger players, but it was still a valuable opportunity to see the team in action. Afterward, I spoke with head coach Chip Hale and pitcher Garrett Irvin about the two games that made up the day to get some big takeaways from what they each saw Sunday.
