Ristic opens up scoring for Arizona with some nice footwork in the paint and a mini jump hook. Trier follows it up with an and-one but doesn't convert on the free throw. Trier scores again but from three point land, Zona is on a 7-0 run. Ira Lee is the first sub off the bench for Arizona replacing Ristic. Lee's first shot splashes in for two from mid range and the Cats play stingy defense on the other end. I'm committed at this point i'll cover the rest of the run until Chico scores, Jackson-Cartwright gets on the box score as he finishes a tough layup. at the rim, Ayton gets fouled on the next possession and hits his charity shots. Zona up 13-0. Ellis ends the goose egg with a free throw on his second from the line. 13-1 Arizona.
It's 17-6 Arizona with 11:45 left in the first half, Emmanuel Akot has been very impressive and is clearly feeling himself. Multiple examples of being able to knock down the mid range shot and with nifty footwork.
33-18 here in McKale with 6:34 left in the first half, Pinder has been the recipient of some nice passes from Trier and Ayton igniting the crowd. Ayton has flashed his all-around ability knocking down a three from the top of the key, Trier continues to be perfect from the field 3-3 for 10 points. Although, the biggest highlight thus far came from Justin Briggs on Chico State showing great footwork blowing around Ayton in the post then finishing at the rim with a one handed slam going up and under on a U of A defender.
Arizona up 35-22 with 3:49 left in the half, Chico State staying around with the help of a plethora of missed free throws from the Cats.

As you'd expect Arizona is starting to exert its will on the visiting Wildcats. Score is 56-31 at the 16:09 mark in the second half.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson in the building today treated to a nice ovation from the crowd.

Miller is comfortable with Ayton shooting threes.
Brandon Randolph could be questionable for next week, they won't put him out there if he has any symptoms, has to be completely symptom free. He got hit in the head with an arm in practice causing his concussion.
