Tommy Lloyd and his staff have already scheduled games against Alabama, UCLA and UConn for the upcoming 2025 season. Now, Lloyd has added a home-and-home series against Auburn starting in Tucson next season.

The Wildcats will have a return game that hasn't been set at this point in time.

This season, Arizona played Duke, Wisconsin, UCLA and the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. Lloyd doesn't mess around.

Arizona has lost defensive backs coach Duane Akina to Texas. Akina will be going back to Austin to be the Longhorns' new DB coach.

The past season, Akina spent time as the DC and saw the defense get riddle with injuries. During the offseason, he was demoted to DB coach and saw LB coach Danny Gonzales get promoted to the programs new DC.

I do not believe there was any hard feelings towards Brent Brennan. However, Gonzales will be running a 3-3-5 set which Akina was more of a 3-4 and 4-2-5 base defensive coach over the last several seasons.

This is a massive on field coaching blow to Arizona. Akina is probably the best DB coach in the country and is now heading to Texas.

No. 19 Arizona returns home to take on BYU.

The Wildcats defeated the Cougars earlier in February 85-74. Caleb Love, Jaden Bradley and Henri Veesaar all scored at least 17 points in the win.

Arizona will look to pick up another win at McKale Center and sweep the season series over the Cougars.
