I don’t like Utah. The team not the state. I am living in Salt Lake. I don’t care for the Utes, their team or their coach. That is not to say they aren’t good. Part of the problem is that they are very good-also big, strong and mean. They love to run the score up every chance they get. Okay, I get it. It’s a big boy sport and no one gets paid for calling off the dogs. I just want to live long enough to see the shoe on the other foot. Of course our Cats would be better sports. Last year I was at Rice-Eccles stadium for every minute of the beat down. Even witnessed the fake punt in the fourth quarter when they were well ahead and pouring it on. The Utah fans jeered when one of our players was injured and called him a sissy for getting hurt. Did I mention I don’t particularly care for them? I will watch every last play Saturday, hoping to see some glimmer of hope for the future. I hope the BasketCats can reap some revenge on their counterparts.
