I caught up with Arizona defensive line target Jabari Watson and he mentioned to me that right now, although he doesn't want to say it officially, the Wildcats are in his top three along with San Diego State and Boise State. Watson said he has built up a nice relationship with Arizona's staff since receiving his offer earlier this month and UA is one of the programs that has kept up with him the most and shown the most interest.
He said at this stage he doesn't have any timetable for a decision, but Arizona is doing well with him. He said his relationship with the coaching staff will be the most important football-related aspect of his decision. Right now he said he likes what he's hearing from Arizona's staff about the program.
He'll play at Fontana (Calif.) Summit this season after playing at Rancho Cucamonga last season.
