Although I think the question about Trier's return is when not if, another thought hit me. So what if Trier did not return? Since he chose to return this year and not enter the draft after receiving an evaluation, what has changed? Would he enter next year's draft or return next year? With no performance to raise his stock and arguably a better selection of players this year would it be smarter to come back next year? And, even if he returns this year, will he play enough to raise his stock over last year? Markannen is projected at the 8 spot. So what's realistic for Trier with little or no performance?
