With the transfer portal window closing on the 25, Arizona has lost a total of three players from its roster. First was long snapper Trey Naughton, who struggled all spring long. Then, kicker and social media expert Cash Peterman has hit the portal after falling out of favor with Michael Selgado-Medina working at both kicker and punter. Now, defensive tackle Isaiah Johnson has entered the portal.
Johnson has struggled with injuries his whole career and has seen little playing time due to the fact that he can't stay healthy. This spring, both Tia Savae and transfer Deshawn McKnight have passed him as the starting defensive tackles.
Plus, Johnson got hurt again and wasn't able to be on the field for most of spring.
