Oral Roberts forward Kevin Obanor has decided to withdraw his name from the NBA Draft this evening and will remain in the NCAA Transfer Portal. He made the move to enter the portal last week and Arizona is one of the schools that has reached out since that time. The 6-foot-8 Houston native was a huge part of ORU run to the Sweet 16 last season, and he averaged 18.7 points and 9.6 rebounds. He will be a graduate transfer so there will be no concern about him being eligible to play right away despite putting his name in the portal after the deadline for players wishing to be immediately eligible. Obanor would certainly provide the Wildcats with a boost in the front court and is another option for the front line while UA awaits a decision from Dawson Garcia, who also pulled his name from the NBA Draft this week after visiting UA.

Right now it sounds like Illinois has the momentum with Garcia. There have been a number or programs already involved with Obanor with Arkansas gaining some early buzz in his recruitment.
