Hey guys, training camp has ended for Arizona today and I wanted to jump in and share my quick takes from Day 8 of camp.

Quick takes:

Daniel Heimuli - Friday marks back-to-back practice that linebacker Daniel Heimuli has been working with the first-team defense along side Jacob Manu. Heimuli has been the Wildcats' best coverage linebacker in camp and he is starting to see the rewards.

That means, linebacker Justin Flowe has been moved to the second unit the last two practices.

Starting GUNNER - One of the key positions on special teams is the GUNNER position and right now DJ Warnell has been the starter at that position. Warnell has looked good and gets off the line fast making him hard for other players to block.

Brayden Dorman - In fairness quarterback Brayden Dorman hasn't seen a lot of reps at all this camp. However, when Dorman is in, it is clear that he needs time to adjust to the college game and the speed of it. The ball just doesn't come out fast enough right now and it is causing him to miss some open receivers, or misses seeing them at all.

We'll have more as usual. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and we'll answer them as soon as possible.
