Hey guys, Arizona just ended practice No. 8 of camp and I'll be putting together my takeaways article from the practice but wanted to share some quick thought.

Quick takes:

- Jacob Cowing yet again proved why he might be the best player on the team during 11-on-11 drills with a long post route TD catch of 75 yards and then taking a screen 60-plus yards to the house for another touchdown. I'm convinced that Cowing will be one of the top receivers in college football and is the best route runner the program has had since Mike Thomas.

- Dion "Tank" Wilson Jr. was back at practice today and got snaps with the second and first-team defense. Wilson Jr. looked good at filling in the gaps during running plays.

- the staff is being very careful with Kyon Barrs and limited him again today in practice. During 11-on-11 drills, Barrs didn't see much time on the field.

As always, I will have more here shortly. But, feel free to ask any questions or share any comments you have about Friday's camp.
