Rivals250 OL Jarrett Bell already visited Arizona a couple times and the Wildcats were one of the schools well in the mix to land him, but then Jim Michalczik left to Oregon State and Rich Rodriguez was fired. Now, Nebraska is in the driver's seat in his recruitment, but other schools are making their push as well with UCLA, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Oregon, Georgia and Clemson all trying to get involved more as well.
He has one more official visit and the word was he was going to commit last night, but he held off until more schools could come by and he could figure out what he wants to do next. He just visited ASU over the weekend and his other three official visits were to Arizona, UCLA and Nebraska. He could decide to commit after some more coaches come through his house Tuesday or he could take that last official trip.
Kevin Sumlin has been the main coach on the road for Arizona since he has yet to officially announce his coaching staff and the UA head coach will make a stop in California today to see and meet with Bell to try and make that last push for the Wildcats. The uphill battle is trying to seal things up without an offensive line coach, but there is real interest there for Bell with the program in general so the door is not closed on the Wildcats.
"I'm honestly not sure yet," Bell told HuskerOnline about what his plans are heading into today. "I'm just going to sit back and think mostly about the offers I have on the table because those are the ones that really want me bad. I'm just going to think about those and go from there."
