Here at the Skyline (Dallas) vs South Oak cliff game to see some future wildcats. Both teams each have a commit on defense and the quarterback for SOC #3 Sean Simms is a 3* Athelete with an offer from the Cats.
Here is a breakdown of the first half:
SOC linebacker (#7) Darion Clark played extremely well. By my estimation he had 3-4 solo tackles and a few assisted. His team shut out skyline which features 3 Star QB Velton Gardner who is probably the fastest player on both teams. 247 has him predicted 50-50 to Colorado or TX Tech. Darion is the signal caller for the defense at middle linebacker and has great vision and understanding of concepts and reading the offense. He has good speed size and strength.
For Skyline, Kane Bradford, #16 is BIG. He is he tallest player on both teams. He is all of 6-5 and could be pushing 6-6. He is lean for a DT and got pushed around a bit by the big SOC guards. He calls the plays and shifts for the line and has a high motor. Will need to add strength but plays hard and has a great frame.
Simms has a very live arm but his accuracy was inconsistent his receivers didn’t help him much. He only had a couple runs and didn’t do much with them. Mostly passed and handed it off.
