So what was at one point the B2G 7v7 team from Southern California has kind of morphed into the Premium Sports 7v7 program with some of the coaches making that move over to start a new team. The coaches had connections to the Augustus Hawkins High School team that produced so much talent for a time. Well, that team has retooled with plenty more talent this year and this weekend Premium is taking its players to Arizona to visit both UA and ASU.
One thing that has seemed a bit different under Kevin Sumlin from Rich Rodriguez is involving 7v7 teams more in the process. It was certainly done under Rodriguez with teams making trips but Sumlin has been a bit more active in working to get them involved.
Arizona will host the group today while ASU is having a junior day tomorrow and will get the prospects on campus there up in Tempe.
