I’m mainly excited because we will have someone who knows how to recruit.
It seems like no one has even tried to recruit, as a whole, since Stoops 2004-2007. We’ve had some good coaches, assistants included, pass through since but when it’s time we’ve more than not had to rely on a short WR, light DT, or slow RB to get us over the hump. There’s a reason that hasn’t happened yet.
