Arizona returned back to Tucson yesterday and it was back on its own practice field this morning for what was its quickest practice of camp as the team was trying to make its way to Zach Hemmila's funeral.

* The team went full pads and by all accounts it was a solid practice for the team even though it was brief. Things are starting to feel a little more normal for the team and there were a few more smiles out on the field today. We didn't get to see any live hitting today during the open period but the mood was better and Paul Magloire was all smiles as it was his turn to break down the team during stretches.

* On the injury front Khalil Tate was back and working with the team today after missing some time yesterday. He looked fine during the open portion and Rich Rodriguez just said he was "banged up" yesterday so it never seemed like anything too severe.

* At the center position it continues to be a battle between Nathan Eldridge and Levi Walton at the moment, but Christian Boettcher will have a say this month as well. Meanwhile, Michael Eletise and Alex Kosinski are getting some work there as well.

* The team will attend Hemmila's funeral today then make its way to Fort Huachuca tonight. The team will end up staying there for two nights rather than just one as it has done the last couple years. The first years under Rodriguez meant a few practices there, but the team went away from that for a bit but it will get in two practices on Saturday with the first one being open to the media. That means a chance to get an extended look once again. The team will have one normal practice and one walk through during its stay at Fort Huachuca.

Sunday will be an off day.
