Hey guys, I wanted to come in and share my thoughts from today's interviews with Brennan Carroll and Johnny Nansen. I can't report what I saw in practice, but I can give you some quick takes.
Quick takes:
- Brennan Carroll talked about where the line is today before the season in comparison to last year. He talked about how the group has a better understanding of what to do and that the addition of Jonah Savaiinaea is here for the line.
- Johnny Nansen said he like where his defense is as a whole and that there are only a "few" positions still up for grabs (aka linebackers)
- Nansen said that he has watched a ton of tap on Braxton Burmeister from Va.Tech, but noted that things will be different with what SDSU will have him do.
